The International Language Institute (ILI) in Washington, DC runs Modern Standard Arabic group classes in 10-week terms. The Winter 2027 term runs from 19 January to 27 March 2027, with a registration deadline of 5 January 2027. Groups are small, with a maximum of 12 students.
Levels start with Basic 1, which teaches the full Arabic alphabet, and go up to advanced. Each class meets once a week for two and a half hours, mostly on weekday evenings, with some levels on Saturday mornings (US Eastern time). Classes are offered in person and live on Zoom.
