This intermediate Arabic course at IOK Seminary reads al-Sabuni's tafsir, Safwat al-Tafasir. Students vowelise and translate set passages before each class, then read them aloud with live correction, while the teacher, Shaykh Bilal Bhakhrani, explains grammar, morphology, rhetoric and the meaning of the verses.
This term covers Surah al-Fatiha to the end of Surah al-Baqarah, and suits students who already know basic Arabic grammar and morphology. It can be taken on site in California, live online, or on demand.
