The Quran and Islamic texts circles of the Prophet's Mosque have opened registration for their annual mutoon memorisation competition for 1448 AH. It is held remotely for male and female students. Exams run from 10 to 24 Sha'ban 1448 AH (18 January to 1 February 2027). Successful entrants receive memorisation certificates and an ijazah with connected chains.
There are two tracks. The first covers student-of-knowledge texts in 6 levels and 19 texts, including Tuhfat al-Atfal, al-Ajurrumiyyah, al-Arba'un al-Nawawiyyah and al-Aqidah al-Wasitiyyah. The second is al-Jami' lima fi al-Sahihayn. The registration form asks for a halaqa or Haram-system student number, so it is mainly aimed at enrolled students.
